Does AS Odontología Digital treat dental emergencies?
Yes. The channel is WhatsApp: you message us, describe what happened, and we find you a slot. During clinic hours we look for a same-day slot whenever the schedule allows it.

If you have a dental emergency, message us on WhatsApp: tell us what happened, when it started, and add a photo if you can. We treat emergencies during clinic hours and look for a same-day slot whenever the schedule allows it. We are not a 24-hour service, and we prefer to say it plainly: outside our hours, message us anyway, we coordinate your visit as soon as possible and tell you what to do in the meantime.
MESSAGE US ON WHATSAPPStep 1
Describe what happened, how long it has been hurting, and what triggers it. A photo helps a lot to triage the emergency before you arrive.
Step 2
Keep the area clean, avoid chewing on that side, and do not apply heat or aspirin to the gum. In tooth pain: what to take and when it's an emergency we explain what actually helps and the mistakes that make pain worse.
Step 3
Swelling that makes it hard to swallow or breathe, high fever with facial swelling, a blow with loss of consciousness, or bleeding that does not stop should not wait for a dental appointment: go to a hospital emergency service immediately.
All of these start the same way: you message us, we triage the emergency, and we get you in. A tooth that broke without pain counts too; a fracture can compromise the nerve even if it doesn't bother you yet.
Our emergency channel is WhatsApp. With your message and photo we triage the case, tell you what to do in the meantime, and look for a slot in the schedule: same day when possible. The clinic is at Av. Kennedy 7440, Vitacura, open Monday to Friday from 7:30 to 19:00 and Saturday from 9:00 to 12:30.
Outside those hours we are not a 24-hour service, and we won't promise otherwise. What we do: read your message, guide you through the safe steps, and line up the first available slot. If your case shows any of the hospital red flags, the right call is not to wait.

No. Our hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 to 19:00 and Saturday from 9:00 to 12:30. Outside those hours, message us anyway: we get back to you as soon as we can, tell you which steps are safe, and find the first available slot. If swelling makes it hard to swallow or breathe, if there is high fever, or after major trauma, go to a hospital emergency service immediately.
Keep the fragment if you find it, ideally in milk or saline, avoid chewing on that side, and message us with a photo. A fracture can compromise the nerve even if it doesn't hurt right away, which is why an early evaluation matters.
Hold it by the crown, without touching the root. If it is dirty, rinse it for a few seconds with saline or milk, without scrubbing. If you can, place it back in its socket and bite on gauze; if not, transport it in cold milk or saline and come in immediately: the first hours change the prognosis. Baby teeth are not replanted; if this happened to a child, it should be seen by a pediatric dentist.
An over-the-counter pain reliever, following the package directions, can help while we get you scheduled, but it does not replace the evaluation: intense pain almost always has a cause that needs treatment. Do not place aspirin on the gum or apply heat to the area; both make things worse.
Children's cases are referred to Bites Odontopediatría, our team's sister clinic, dedicated exclusively to children. If you message us about a child, we guide you and put you in contact with them right away.
